Post-Care for Botox

Follow these steps to ensure the best results and avoid complications:

  • Stay upright for 4 hours after treatment.
  • Avoid lying down or bending over to prevent Botox from migrating.
  • Don’t rub, massage, or apply pressure to treated areas for 24 hours.
  • Avoid facials, facial massages, and dermal treatments for at least 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours.
  • Light walking is fine, but no vigorous workouts.
  • No hot tubs, saunas, tanning beds, or long hot showers for 24 hours.

Avoid both for 24 hours post-treatment

Gently move facial muscles (smile, frown) in the treated areas to help Botox settle.
